Who is responsible for the Affordable Family Homes program for Harvest Hills at Woodbine?

A Housing Award from Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) and the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program works in partnership with the City of Woodbine, SWIPCO, and the local developer for Harvest Hills at Woodbine. The grant is a funding tool to expand affordable, efficient family housing options. The CDBG grant will assist with the construction of 40 Single Family Homes for Harvest Hills at Woodbine.

Buyers with first priority will be for those who were directly impacted by  the Spring 2019 Flooding. The official announcement from Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) outlines the award as a gap funding tool for constructing 40 affordable family homes, as well as the addition of infrastructure to support the new housing at Harvest Hills subdivision located on the west edge of Woodbine.
